As a member of the Maintenance & Reliability Department which has a mission to prudently maintain the assets and a vision to achieve high reliability with superior performance, this role will be responsible to drive SAP data quality improvement process to facilitate equipment failure-performance analysis, manage Process Safety programs compliance and integrate Planning & Scheduling with Reliability Processes.

The Maintenance & Reliability Data Analyst will work as a part of an integrated team within the Surmont Maintenance & Reliability Team and support the Montney Asset, as required, to develop, manage, maintain, influence and execute specific tasks to sustain and improve the performance of the facilities’ assets.



  • Promote, support and adhere to ConocoPhillips Health, Safety andEnvironment (HSE) management system.

  • EnsureHSE issues are given priority consideration by complying with allcorporate and operating procedures to align with corporate safetystandards and expectations.

  • Maintains safe workenvironment by following codes, standards, legal and company regulations.

  • Understand M&R ManagementSystem business processes and ensure that SAP Maintenance Functionality& Master Data are aligned with the KPI reporting tools and dashboards.

  • Executethe processes, procedures and standards related to SAP PM Module masterdata maintenance and development. This includes but is not limited toFunctional Locations, Equipment Numbering, Maintenance Task Lists, Itemsand Plans.

  • Ensure Surmont personnel understand corefunctions of Oil Sands maintenance management systems by providing onsitetraining sessions based on collection of lessons learned.

  • Manage Oil Sands CMMS & MRMSstandards and processes.

  • Singlepoint of contact for Operation Assurance Team and for PSSR’s punch listitems.

  • Provide support to the Shutdown &Asset Integrity teams in retrieving maintenance data required to optimizefuture activities and to identify requirements to complete regulatoryactivities.

  • Actively participate in the review andexecution of MCRs.

  • Ensureasset master data remains current as equipment is installed ordecommissioned, new Project/MOC changes including functional locationchanges, MM/BOM creation and PM’s creations.

  • Support field-based roles such asPlanners & Schedulers in SAP transactions and to obtain vendorspecific information for WO and reduce material lead time.

  • Lead preventative maintenance processesby managing the deferral process, identification of work orders thatrequire deferral, and audit those items to ensure compliance.

  • Support Supply Chain with surplusmanagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical diploma with strong Maintenance & Reliability background.

  • 5 years ofOil & Gas Industry experience or industrial plant experience in Maintenance& Reliability.

  • Advancedskills and experiences on Plant Maintenance Plans Development (PMs)

  • SAP PM Module Power User.

  • Knowledge with SAP module interfaces withothers (FI,CO,MM,PS and DMS).

  • Familiarity with Meridium, Spotfire & Asset Answer Tools.

  • Interpretation of critical documents such as P&IDs,Datasheets, Electrical Drawings, C&E

  • SAP WinShuttle mass uploadexperience.

  • Effective communicator, with excellent written, oral andpresentation skills.

  • Demonstratedknowledge of industrial safe work practices and standards.

  • Good understanding of Asset PerformanceManagement.

  • An in depth understanding of thelong-range maintenance plan and good knowledge of maintenance planning andscheduling process.

  • Excellent time management and workprioritization skills.

  • Must belegally authorized to work in Canada on a regular full-time basis withoutrestrictions.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with managing andadministrating databases.

  • Experience with developing maintenanceprograms and procedures.

  • Understands RCM based PPM programs that are designed aroundfailure mode analysis and the inter-relationships with the SAP PM module.

  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and multi-task.

  • Ability to adapt to, and adopt new techniques and technologies.
