Support, maintain, and assist in the development of a ConocoPhillips Alaska Procured Materials Freight (PMF) management program.
If you are selected for this position you would support ConocoPhillips Alaska Business Unit in daily maintenance and support of managing procured materials freight activity including truck, air, and freight forwarding modes including support of contractual agreements to maximize value in terms of spend, process efficiency, internal controls and compliance with trade regulations.
Your responsibilities may include:
Align the Alaska Business Unit actions to achieve Master Logistics Plan objectives
Manage internal work processes in support of Alaska freight activity and the SAP common design for freight
Interact with Transportation Carriers to resolve and assist in daily transactions for domestic and international shipments
Act as the key resource to businesses on CPAI freight systems, data, and global freight functional knowledge
Validate rates that fall outside freight process such as expedited loads or/or oversized and over dimensional
Provide Data Analytics to analyze large amounts of data to determine lane history, expedited shipments; and sources to meet business goals
As a subject matter authority assisting the Logistics Lead and Materials Coordinators on Sourcing and Contract Administration
Identify, develop and advance the development and implementation of annual CPAI Logistics Plan
Assist in Contract and Sourcing strategies in all transportation lanes
Maintain Logistics and Materials Process Guidelines (Routing Guide)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S, citizen or national or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other related field or foreign equivalent
3 years of Logistics, Freight or related experience
Willing and able (with our without reasonable accommodations) to travel 15% on an annual basis
5 years of logistics or transportation experience
3 years experience in SAP MM module
Ability to influence business process changes
Strong written and oral communication skills
Aptitude to work in the full range of Microsoft suite
Strong Change Management and teammate
Financial acumen - ability to work with Business units to settle the best general interest solution for their logistics challenges.
Audit agreements for rate compliance with an understanding of business law as it applies to Global Freight business activity
Transportation - full truckload, LTL, flatbed, small package modes, understanding of freight service providers
Understanding of the freight global common design, understanding of SAP master data, and Business Warehouse
Understanding of internal controls and how to address gaps in process controls, export and import compliance rules and regulations
Able to develop commonly used logistics modeling tools to support decision making and planning efforts
Analyzes stakeholder needs, global, political, and market trends to understand how they shape the future and impact business results
Listens actively and invites new ideas for shared understanding, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
