Job Summary
The ConocoPhillips Information Technology internship program includes an exciting summer assignment, along with orientation, teambuilding, community service activities, and opportunities to interact with upper management. As an intern, you would embark on an exciting summer assignment, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real-world projects. Here’s what you can expect:

Guidance and Support: Your supervisor and mentors will provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance throughout your internship.
Networking Opportunities: Interact with upper management and plug into our wide array of Employee Resource Groups.
Final Presentation: At the end of the summer, showcase your learnings and accomplishments through a capstone presentation.
Internship assignments will typically be at our Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas offices. There may also be limited internship opportunities available in Anchorage, Alaska. You may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement. Typical length of our internships varies from 10 to 14 weeks based on the project and your availability.
Job Description
Basic/Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field or foreign equivalent
Current level in college: Freshman through Senior
Expected graduation date: Fall 2025 through Spring/Fall 2028
Available for internship start mid-late May 2025
A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship
Preferred:
Willing to work in either of these locations: Bartlesville, OK, Houston, TX or Anchorage, AK
A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrates ability to generate effective solutions based on available information and make timely decisions that are safe and ethical
Develops strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals
Demonstrates taking ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable and standing up for what is right
Demonstrates an understanding of how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business
