Job Summary
Alaska Overview
ConocoPhillips is Alaska’s largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.2 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2022. The company produced an average of 200 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2022. ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North America’s largest legacy conventional oil fields, both located on Alaska’s North Slope: Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, ConocoPhillips operates several fields on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.
The Meeting Technology Architect plans and supports the Alaska business unit and assist corporate with audio/video needs including design, implementation, and support of conference rooms, digital signage, video conferencing, virtual meetings, and town halls.
Job Description
Your responsibilities may include:
Engineer, implement and support all collaborative conference rooms including programming of Crestron control systems for all Alaska sites
Administer video conference infrastructure, control systems, and hardware standards
Manage projects with external vendors to refresh and develop new conference rooms and video conferencing systems for Alaska
Proactively work with Corporate IT support teams, such as meeting technology, network operations and architects, to maintain alignment between Alaska requirements and global standards
Provide support of audio/video systems for end users and executives
Provide feedback to the rest of the Meeting Technology team from the BU concerning technology or standards
Participate on the Incident Management Team as required and attend IMT Trainings and annual exercises
Basic/Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Current AVIXA CTS, CTD-D, or CTS-I Certification
5+ years experience engineering, implementation, and support of audio-visual systems in an enterprise environment
3+ years experience with Crestron hardware administration
1+ years experience installing and configuring Crestron Flex Teams Room Systems
Intermediate level knowledge of Crestron programming CTI-P101
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT/IS related field or foreign equivalent
Advanced level technical problem-solving skills with ability to quickly grasp different concepts, and apply the knowledge creatively and intelligently to the solution of complex problems
Advanced level interpersonal skills, team oriented, but can work independently
Intermediate level project management skills in managing large multi-faceted projects
Ability to multitask in the environment and deliver timely results
Invites dialogue to gain a shared understanding and influences with confidence to drive performance and achieve business results.
Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals
