Global Print Management supports 2,000 Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) and network printers in addition to the Follow You Print and enterprise scanning infrastructure. This highly technical role requires strong troubleshooting and effective communication skills. The analyst will work in a small team to collaborate on both technical and non-technical print issues and processes. This role provides a great experience as it requires working with numerous groups, both within and outside of IT, such as the MFD vendor, Procurement, other groups within ITSS, local support at various sites, business partners and analysts, business units, and end users.
Responsibilities may include:
Follow You Printing Software and Server Support
MFD Scanning Software and Server Support
Printer support including the creation of network queues and driver maintenance
MFDs, HP printers, 30 print servers, SAP printing, printer request evaluations
Developing and enforcing standards and strategy
Usage analysis and fleet optimization
Producing reports and metrics
Reducing print costs
Administering print management applications and databases
Support a global IT leveraged service
Work with vendors
Scheduling and implementing changes
Consulting with business analysts, local support, and end users
Using and having knowledge in Excel
Networking with internal and external customers
Legally authorized to work in the United States
5 years of IT experience
5 years of experience in desktop, server, and network/systems support
1 years of experience with Follow You Print infrastructure setup and support
1 years of experience with an enterprise scanning solution
1 years of experience managing print servers
1 years of experience with managing print queues and drivers in an enterprise environment
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, MIS, Computer Science or other IT related field
Experience with Equitrac Follow You Printing software and support
Experience with Ricoh MFDs and GlobalScan software and support
Experience with editing or enhancing scripts using Visual Basic, Pearl, Powershell, HTML and Batch files
