This position can be based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, or Houston, Texas.
Your responsibilities may include:
Internal Client/Candidate Relationship Management
Acting as a recruiting Subject Matter Expert (SME) and critical thinking partner by providing recommendations and labor market intelligence giving to the overall achievement of ConocoPhillips' business and financial objectives
Utilizing effective communication and follow-through with internal clients and candidates, and establishing and maintaining positive relationships while promoting company image and opportunities
Carry out and be accountable for the recruiting Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Collaborating with management and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP's) to develop and deliver the best recruiting strategies to achieve annual workforce hiring targets for assigned business functions
Recruiting for all assigned positions using a variety of sources, including direct sourcing using social media and network contacts, internet postings, database searches, and referrals to build diverse candidate pools
Screening, assessment, interviewing and selection
Providing resume evaluations, phone screenings and expertise in interviewing methodology and high-touch customer-focused processes to enable consistent quality of hire
Using the Taleo Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and the LinkedIn Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to deliver the high quality candidates, build strong candidate pipelines, and assess and balance reports to measure efficiency and effectiveness
Confirmed understanding of governmental regulations, professional standards and practices related to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Affirmative Action (AA), and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance
Ability to efficiently negotiate and obtain a high rate of offer acceptance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination, or ConocoPhillips approved accommodation, required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt, Human Resources Admin/Mgmt./Services, other related business field, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
5 years of HR or related experience
3 years of experience with candidate screening, resume evaluation or Targeted Selection interview methodology
Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis
3 years of experience recruiting in an agency setting
AIRS Certification (CIR, ACIR, CSSR, CDR, CSMR, PCR etc.)
Human Resources Certification (PHR, SPHR, GPHR etc.)
Advanced experience with Applicant Tracking systems
Advanced experience with staffing of professional business functions (e.g., Corporate Procurement, Legal, HR, Finance, Information Technology, etc.) or Petro-Technical Functions (Engineering, Geosciences)
Advanced knowledge and prior experience with Human Resource policies & practices
Implement and carry out confidentiality practices and appropriately balance sensitive information with tact and discretion
Efficiently communicates, building trust and credibility
Sets ambitious targets and meets them, balancing both business and customer needs
Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
