Description:

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist in Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas to work as part of our US Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition. As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will serve as an in-house expert, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting diverse talent, with a specific focus on hard to fill roles.

The Talent Sourcing Specialist utilizes various recruiting tools, techniques, technology and networks to provide guidance on the employment market, industry trend impact on sourcing strategy, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Candidate/Client Relationship Management

  • Acting as a recruiting subject matter expert and strategic thinking partner by providing recommendations based on labor market intelligence and company priorities

  • Utilizing effective communication and follow-through in line with our Candidate Care Charter, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships while selling company image and opportunities

  • Adhering to, and accountability for, our Recruiting Service Level Agreement

  • Providing resume evaluations, phone screens, expertise in interviewing methodology and high-touch customer-focused processes to enable consistent quality of hire and candidate experience

  • Bringing successful negotiation practices to meet appropriate offer acceptance rates

  • Demonstrating clear understanding of, and compliant practices for, governmental regulations, professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA and OFCCP compliance

  • Labor Market Intelligence and Research

  • Advising peers and internal clients on data-driven market labor recommendations to support the development of comprehensive sourcing plans

  • Educating internal clients on labor market trends and using competitive analysis to understand hiring needs to develop best in class recruiting practices

  • Utilizing a deep understanding of strategic business priorities and how the organization makes money to identify how changes in business strategy impact talent acquisition needs and approaches

  • Sourcing

  • Developing sourcing strategies for niche groups including diversity, engineering, geosciences

  • Supporting peers with as needed sourcing for difficult to fill roles and pipeline development

  • Advising on the implementation of functional sourcing matrixes

  • Developing pipelines to meet the staffing needs of the business through innovative practices and outreach

  • Utilizing technology and advising on techniques to support strategic sourcing initiatives

  • Continuously improving the sourcing process to maximize efficiencies

Qualifications:

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or other related discipline

  • 5 years of experience in technical recruiting (IT, Engineering, Geoscience)

  • 3 years of experience developing labor market insights to drive sourcing strategies

Preferred:

  • 5 years of experience sourcing candidates for the energy industry

  • AIRS Certification (CIR, ACIR, CSSR, CDR, etc.)

  • Experience supporting military or diversity recruitment programs

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking and Candidate Relationship Management systems

  • Experience with staffing of professional business functions (e.g. corporate procurement, legal, HR, finance, information technology, etc.) or Technical Functions (Engineering, Chemists, Geosciences)

  • Sets aggressive targets and meets them, balancing both business and customer needs

  • Knowledge and prior experience with Human Resource policies & practices strongly preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
