This full-time role would be responsible for developing communications at the program level and supporting Wave 1 Projects, including the nxtgenERP newsletter, leadership speaking points, stakeholder presentations, video scripts, animations, etc. In addition, this role would be responsible for communications plan maintenance and execution, SPOC Network support, onboarding materials development.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide strategic communications to the nxtgenERP Program and Project teams

  • Drive program communications strategies and plans that engage stakeholders and promote understanding of the program’s objectives, approach, and benefits.

  • Leverage existing ConocoPhillips communications vehicles (both Corporate and within the BUs) and recommend new strategies/channels to increase effectiveness, with a focus on two-way, measurable communications to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

  • Partner with internal resources (e.g., Brand/Digital team) to identify and execute opportunities to integrate brand messages and leverage new channels for stakeholders’ communications.

  • Manage complex communications issues to produce timely and measurable results

  • Translate complex information into creative and effective communication concepts

  • Establish and track metrics that measure communications effectiveness tied employee engagement



  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related discipline

  • 5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications or IT project communications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office


  • 5 years with a major corporation and/or agency with major corporate clients

  • Superior communications, collaboration, networking, project management, and influencing skills

  • Proven experience developing, implementing and measuring internal communications programs

  • Experience working directly with senior leaders

  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills

  • Experience in change management

  • Strong ability to influence by positioning, explaining and implementing new ideas

  • Listens actively and invites dialogue for shared understanding, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve results

  • Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals

  • Analyzes stakeholder needs, global, political, and market trends to understand how they shape the future and impact business results
