The Solution Integrator is accountable for evaluating and implementing technology-based processes and solutions to help enable successful attainment of Corporate IT and Business Unit goals.

The primary scope for this position is focused on Operations and Production, Engineering Data, Supply Chain, Capital Projects and Aviation with additional activities as capacity and demand requires.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Design technical architecture for new and existing systems including integration

  • Evaluate emerging technology for integration into existing systems

  • Single point of contact “owner/coordinator” of the end-to-end technical work required to implement the best design/solution

  • Responsible for build-out of the Technical To-Be Requirements to ensure the requirements are aligned with ConocoPhillips standards and strategies

  • Participate in vendor demonstrations and provide input from a technical perspective to confirm we align with all ConocoPhillips technical standards and strategies

  • Help define Vendor Demonstration and Use Cases

  • Develop all required estimates for technical components for execution plan (interfaces, data conversion, etc.)

  • Propose potential solutions and recommendations to the IT Director, Business Analyst, Supervisor or Project Manager

  • Utilize knowledge and recommendations of business and technical dependencies to deliver sustainable and reliable solutions

  • Provide input on Stakeholder and Risk Matrix spreadsheets

  • Coordinate with the vendor and IT to get the vendor solution implemented in ConocoPhillips' environment

  • Develop strong working relationships with Business Analysts, Applications Analysts, Data Analysts and Project Managers

  • Complete ConocoPhillips assessments and technical evaluations including cloud and security

  • Review/Update any documentation to confirm it is complete and accurate based on knowledge application and processes

  • Assist with stakeholder communication plans and risk mitigation plans that are assigned to the SI role

  • Ensure proper solution handover to the Technical Vended Apps support team

  • Provide feedback from implementation experience to continuously improve solution design



  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or other IT related field

  • 3 years of oil and gas experience


  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and independence, displaying innovative skills to solve complex problems

  • Experience with Application Support, Data Management or Application Development

  • Ability to communicate to a wide audience (Director, Manager, Business Analyst, Technical Support) providing appropriate level of detail

  • Willingness to learn new technology to ensure the best solution is provided

  • Initiative to work independently and willingness to simultaneously progress multiple projects, re-prioritizing work as needed to meet critical demands
