ConocoPhillips is Alaska’s largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.3 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2019. The company produced an average of 218 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2019. ConocoPhillips holds major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay Unit, the Kuparuk River Unit, and the Colville River Unit (Alpine). The company operates the Kuparuk and Alpine oil fields, has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.
The Kuparuk-based Fieldwide Planning Supervisor position is a planning role located in the Integrated Planning team. This role will supervise the Kuparuk planning team, while also collaborating closely with the Anchorage-based Integrated Planning team. The Kuparuk Planning Team primarily supports the detail planning and scheduling of our 90-day execution plan. This role will play a key part in the development of processes and work product in relation to our 90-day plan handover to the execution resources. Periodic trips to Anchorage should be expected to facilitate development of our Integrated Planning Process.
Your responsibilities may include:
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor manages the team of planners responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality execution of maintenance and capital projects(<$5MM) for production and infrastructure facilities. They must also be able to fill-in planning responsibilities in the case of extended Facility Planner absence.
This position stewards the GKA O&M Workflow Process and is a gatekeeper of work handovers from long-range planning to slope planning and the gatekeeper of break-in work
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor has critical responsibilities within the GKA work management process, requiring close working relationships with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to implement the process as defined. The Supervisor is specifically responsible for resource balancing our contract labor using fieldwide prioritization to populate the 90-day schedule.
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor has budget and cost responsibilities including budget preparation, budget maintenance, estimating, funding authorization document preparation and review, cost tracking and reporting. These responsibilities may be for all or part of multiple budget categories such as Minor Capital Improvements, Operations Managed Capital, Major Repair Expense and Base Operating & Maintenance.
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor will use SAP as a work and financial management tool including extensive use of the Plant Maintenance Module.
The Supervisor will facilitate weekly ranking and scheduling meetings to align Operations, Maintenance and Engineering on the work to be executed in the upcoming period.
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor will work directly with the Anchorage-based Integrated Planning team to transition long-term planned items into the field execution schedule
The Fieldwide Planning Supervisor will own the long-range planning sheets and be the responsible party for updating it in collaboration with the finance group
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
10 years of experience in process maintenance project planning
3 years of experience with plant and drill site maintenance activities including mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and welding crafts
Valid drivers license
Intermediate knowledge of SAP maintenance, materials, and financial modules.
Willing and able to work in and live in a remote site in the Arctic, including working outside in harsh weather conditions.
Willing and able to work 14 days on, 14 days off work schedule
3 years of experience in a supervisory or project lead role
1 years of experience using the Prometheus scheduling tool (SAP plug-in)
Basic knowledge of Primavera 6
