We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Applications Analyst to join our IT team in Brisbane. In this role, the Applications Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of Enterprise Content Management and the business applications used by personnel in the Australia Business Unit East as well as the Asia Pacific Middle East region.


As our Applications Analyst you will be passionate about supporting the business in advancing data visualisation and data analytics, as well as gathering, analysing and documenting system requirements. You will also build and nurture key interfaces between the business groups, the IT department and third-party vendors.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Computer Science or MIS, or:

  • 5 years recent work experience in a related IT / business computing environment

  • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, strong SQL writing and scripting skills

  • Experience in supporting enterprise applications and a strong understanding of their infrastructure requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a virtual global team

  • Alignment to the ConocoPhillips SPIRIT values

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and continue to improve your technical and professional skills
