The Wells Compliance department in ConocoPhillips Norway is looking for a Well Design & Delivery Process (WDDP) Coordinator. The position is located onshore in our office in Tananger and reports to Supervisor Wells Compliance.

The WDDP Coordinator is a key position to drive measured cross functional Well Design & Delivery performance and integrated planning within the Wells and GEA Development departments with the ultimate goal of ensuring safe, efficient and cost effective well operations. Data quality assessment, analysis and management will be increasingly emphasized in the role.

The main responsibility for the position is to coordinate, assess data quality, facilitate and support the WDDP within the Norway BU to standardize and optimize the planning of Norway Wells activities and other identified key performance initiatives.

ConocoPhillips Norway is currently focusing very heavily on expanding its data analytics capability and this position has the potential to make a significant contribution to this effort.


  • Provide WDDP performance support including being a key driver for Wells process improvement initiatives, facilitation & training

  • Continuously measure WDDP performance and identify / drive performance improvement opportunities

  • Assess data quality and management of key parameters in WDDP including reporting tool WellView


Required competency

  • IT skills and capacity to learn new tools and apply in data analysis

  • Strong drive for performance improvement

  • Proficient in MS Office Professional including MS Project

  • Proficient in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing

Preferred competency

  • Skill trade certificate or technical college within Information Technology. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education level

  • Proficient IT /data analysis skills / experience

  • Knowledge of or capacity to learn WellView and Spotfire

  • Systematic, organized and able to prioritize multiple assignments/tasks

  • Strong facilitation skills
